ROMANS 1:7 – To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
I CORINTHIANS 1:2 – 2 Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:
Clearly we are called to be saints. In the Catholic Church, they bestow the title of saint upon “good” Catholics who have done “great things”. In the Bible, all believers are called saints. One is not a saint because they do great things or even right things. NO! One becomes a saint because the righteousness of Jesus Christ is applied to the believers at the time they give their lives to Jesus. We were once sinners and now we are called saints.
Ephesians 3: 18-20 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
He has made it possible for us to be saints.
He is working through His power that dwells within each one of us.
Today, thank Him that He no longer calls you sinner, but He calls you saint.
