Why did His death happen the way that it happened? – Tuesday

Isaiah 53:10-11 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

Long before Jesus came to earth, the Father ordained that our redemption would take place by the giving of His son. Up until Jesus crucifixion, animals had to be sacrificed on a yearly basis. When Jesus shed His blood, it satisfied the Father. The sin debt had been paid. It had to happen the way it did or God could not have be satisfied and our salvation would not have been possible.

Hebrews 9:11-12 – 11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

You see that, He obtained eternal redemption for us BY HIS BLOOD. He shed Blood. Blood was required. Hebrews 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

As odd as I might seem, today take time to thank God for the shedding of blood Jesus did at Calvary. It is what washed you white as snow.

Isaiah 1: 18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Prayer: Father, thank you for the blood of Jesus. Help me never to be ashamed of Him and what He has done in my life. I praise you today for including me under the precious blood of Jesus, In His name I Pray, amen.
