The Architect of our faith is God

The Foundation is Jesus Christ

The Plan is redemption

The Finish is being Biblically sound

Know what you believe and why you believe it. So often Christians are asked Biblical questions they cannot answer. Could it be they never study God’s Word, and if they never study God’s Word, what life’s instructions are they living by?

Can you imagine going to a Doctor for consultation on heart surgery and he or she tells you they have never been to school but they are a member of a country club? Are you going to trust their advice? If you are not living what you say you believe (when you really don’t know what you believe) should anyone trust your advice?

Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

God’s Word is for your benefit. You will find peace, comfort, joy and contentment instead of living in frustration and failure.

Psalms 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Psalms 1:1-4 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

Do you desire Spiritual Prosperity? The Word that you live by affects everything and everyone in your life. Whose word are you going to trust, man’s or God’s?

Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

2 Corinthians 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

Keep in mind, you are not alone. Not only do you have brothers and sisters cheering for you here, you have those who are already with the Lord cheering for you too.

Hebrews 12:1-2 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Lord: Help me to take time each day to spend with you in prayer and reading Your Word. I want to be a doer of Your Word so others can see Christ in me.
