1. What does loving the family look like?

Acts 4:34-35 Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,  And laid them down at the apostles’ feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.

The love of family assures that I am loved, cared for and protected. How are we doing as a family in fulfilling this great part of the Christian’s love?

2. Catching glimpse of the look of love!

When He was on the Cross, I was on His mind. Rejoice in the fact that on Calvary’s cross, He looked ahead in time and saw you and your need of salvation.

Luke 23:34a Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do……

3. I too need this love of the family!

 Galatians 6:2 Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

How am I allowing others within the body to love me? Have I built up a tough guy image and gone it alone? Today, repurpose to become an intimate part of the body that God has placed you in.

4. Loving others outside the body of believers.

The church needs to love each other and then collectively reach out in love to those outside the body. Let us, together. Share the great love of God with those so desperately in need.

Psalms 126:6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

Let’s learn to reach out with hearts of compassion.

1 John 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

God’s unconditional love is the greatest love ever known to man. Let’s learn to rejoice in the fact that….
