The love that God had for the people of this earth is sometimes beyond our comprehension.  This love gave to us.  This love purchased us.  This love redeemed us.  This love caused someone to die so that we could live.  What a great love He has given unto us.

Ever wonder why God did it?  You know, gave His son for you? It is really quite simple. He wants a relationship with His greatest creation.  MAN.  That’s right, us, and as much as He loves the sinner, His love for believers goes even further.  He extends to us “KID” rights.  We get to call Him father!

John 1:12  But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Romans 8:15  For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

Abba Father literally means DADDY.  There is a special love and bond between a good “daddy” and his kids.  Daddies are able to give things to their kids that no one else can give to them. Protection, guidance, instruction, correction, needful things as well as sometimes wants:  All things that the father provides. Just as I love my children, God loves me even more as His child.  He loves me unconditionally, without fear of rejection and will full assurance of His protection and provision.

God’s love is the greatest love of all.  A love that gives so others can receive.

Galatians 4:4-6 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.  And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

Father, Daddy, thank you for your unconditional, never ending love for me your child.  May I honor you as I live out my life in all that I do, In Jesus name, amen.
