Matthew 25: 37-40 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

It is possible to give out love so much that we can forget to take love in. We need to allow others to love us too. Jesus shared this story about those in need. Sometimes, you will have needs in your life. DO NOT BE AFRIAD to let others love you too. You see, allowing them to help you is a way they can fulfill the love of Jesus and be blessed for serving you.

Here are some questions to ask today:
1. How do I react when I am in need?
2. Am I willing to allow others to show their love as Jesus demonstrated in the scriptures?
3. Do I let pride keep others from receiving a blessing as they reach out to me?

Prayer: Father, let me be willing to accept the love of your family. Let me not hold on to my pride and realize you have placed me in the family because I sometimes need the love of God’s people. Thank you for giving me this family of God to be a part of. I love you, in Jesus name I pray, amen.

Verse for today:

Galatians 6:2 Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
