1 Peter 4:7-11 But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. Use hospitality one to another without grudging. As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
As we look at the subject “Learning to live like Jesus does”, this week’s devotions will be on loving the family of God. One of the real issues in the church today is the lack of love found for each other. I am thankful for the love shown here at Liberty. God has blessed us in a great way. We are a loving caring church that has a big heart. This week we will learn better how to love God’s family.
As you do the devotions, let’s remember that there are many within the body of Christ who are longing for someone to love them and encourage them.
As we look at others within the family, let’s be the family they are looking for. As we learn to better love one another, we will then be able to reach out to those who are yet outside the family of God.
John 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
I am looking forward to a “love” fest within the body. I am hoping you will join me.
