2 Timothy 3:16-17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

The Bible consists of 66 books, 39 Old Testament books and 27 in the New Testament. It was written by 40 men roughly over a period of 1500 years. The Bible is the most sold book in the world and is known to have the greatest impact on mankind than any other book.

Many have tried to find contradictions in the scriptures and in the process were brought under conviction and put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ, and now preach the gospel.

It has been proven to be historically, archeologically and prophetically accurate.

The first five books of the Old Testament called the Torah or Pentateuch are attributed to Moses who literally spoke with God. The New Testament was written by men with spiritual authority. Matthew, John and Peter were close disciples of Jesus and later became apostles. Mark was also a disciple and a close associate of Peter and a companion to Paul and Barnabus.

James was the brother of Jesus. Paul was a Pharisee whose name was Saul and while persecuting Christians met Jesus on the road to Damascus.

Luke became a disciple after Jesus’ death and resurrection.

All of these men are historically documented

BUT THAT”S NOT ALL Jesus the Son of God and the Son of man is also historically documented.

It is said if you cover the state of Texas with silver dollars, 2 feet deep and mark just one silver dollar, blind fold a man and give him one try to find it. What would his chance be? Compare that to Jesus fulfilling just one out of 8 prophecies. Jesus has fulfilled over 350 prophecies!

Paul says in 1 Corinthians 15:1-8 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.

Our resurrected Lord & Savior was witnessed by over 500 people!

All authority begins in Genesis 1:1 with this foundational statement:

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Colossians 1:15-19 Affirms the sovereignty and authority of God

Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:  For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:  And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell

It will end with Jesus as the authority. Revelation 22:12-14 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
