“Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls”. 1 Peter 1:8, 9
The Message paraphrases these verses like this:
“You never saw him, yet you love him. You still don’t see him, yet you trust him—with laughter and singing. Because you kept on believing, you’ll get what you’re looking forward to: total salvation.”
Don’t worry, your faith will pay really big dividends.
You see, you may think sometimes that you have been left out, but you haven’t.
You see dear church, your salvation is very safely protected by Jesus.
When it is all said and done, you win.
“Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,” Jude 1:24
Don’t worry, he has your back.
Love you all. Enjoy your Saturday.
