“Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil.” (Ephesians 4:26, 27)
1. having a strong feeling of or showing annoyance, displeasure, or hostility; full of anger
Ever been told that all anger is sin? Not so!
Jesus got angry and cleared out the temple of thieves. Then he turned around and gave His life for those same thieves. Jesus’ anger was at WHAT they were doing, not at who they were.
Anger is an emotional response that needs a quick resolution or it will eat you alive.
Today, before the day is over, bring all your anger and release it at the feet of Jesus.
Let Him be your peace, love you all. Pastor Tilly
“I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called” Ephesians 4:1
You know what people need from us?
Less talk and more walk.
The number one complaint I get from non believers is that “Christians” do not act any different than they do.
Let’s make sure that complaint is bogus. Let’s live worthy of who and what we are.
A child of THE King.
Love ya all. Enjoy the “warm” southern weather.
“For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.” Psalms 50:10, 11
He owns it all, and I mean ALL and He is OUR Father.
Guess I will quit worrying then. What about you?
He loves you more then all the other things that are His.
Now go have a good day.
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, 1 Peter 1:3-4
Someone once said told me that Jesus’ sufferings were different than ours because He knew His were temporary.
Guess what, so are ours.
One day we will too leave it all behind and forever be with Him.
Until then, our hearts can go on singing and with joy We can carry on. Have a great “cold” Saturday.
Love u all, Pastor Tilly
“Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.” Job 23:12
Job knew something about real trials.
He also knew something about true worship.
What was it that enabled him to worship during such a tragic time in his life?
The word of God.
That’s right, he loved God’s word more then food. How important is God’s word to you?
Only in the Bible will you really learn true worship. Spend quality time with Him today.
Love you all, Pastor Tilly
“Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped,” (Job 1:20)
What was Jobs response when he found out he had lost everything?
You see, worship is not just some emotion we explode into on Sunday morning or when God does something “GOOD”. Worship is a result of a real heart relationship. Circumstances do not dictate worship, the condition of your heart does. Today, express your heart felt thanks to our Heavenly Father through true worship.
Love ya all, Pastor Tilly
Have a worship filled day.
“In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.” (1 John 4:9)
God’s love led Him to give the most precious thing that He had, JESUS!
Why? So He could have us too!
Nothing of value comes cheap. For God to pay the price He paid, He must see some real value in you.
See yourself today as He does. You are a pearl of GREAT price. Lift up your head and rejoice.
God loves you and so do I. Have a great today.
